To round off Europe in a Day’s 7th birthday celebrations, it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! It’s time to find out who is your winner of Birthday Eurovision 2022!
Over the last month, 32 songs representing the countries featured in the Europe in a Day book and website have been competing for the votes of international juries. In addition to the juries from the countries taking part, juries from the 11 Europe in a Day countries and territories that don’t take part at the actual Eurovision Song Contest (England, the Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Jersey, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Scotland, Wales and Vatican City) have also awarded their douze points!
In addition to the scores of these 43 juries, the results of the public vote conducted HERE were added to the juries’ final marks as a televote. This year, countries will reveal their points in the order they appear in the Europe in a Day, starting with Norway and all the countries in the first edition of the book, before moving on through the second edition and finally onto the website and ending in Guernsey, the most recent addition to Europe in a Day’s family!
Did Europe’s televoters and juries agree? Let’s take a look and find out! Good evening Europe, this is Florence calling!

For those of you who love to study the results in full and see whose points went where, here is the table of the full results, combining both the juries and the televote!

It was ballads galore at the top of the scoreboard this year with a close-fought battle between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands. But for the first time ever at Birthday Eurovision, a country claimed victory in both the results of the televote and the jury, meaning Bosnia and Herzegovina are this year’s unanimous winners! Hosts Italy came 3rd in their own contest, while Belgium, San Marino, Romania, Ukraine, Denmark and North Macedonia all achieved either their first or best ever placings within the Top 10. Interestingly, Switzerland finished in the Top 10 of both the Jury Vote and the Televote, but ultimately placed 11th!
So a huge congratulations to Bosnia and Herzegovina for winning Europe in a Day’s Birthday Eurovision 2022! Here’s the winner’s reprise!

A big thank you to all of our international juries who cast their votes and to everyone around the world who took part in the televote – hope you enjoyed the show!
Do you agree with the result? Did your favourites do well?
Until next year in Mostar! 😉
