First published in the 1950s, J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy is considered one of the greatest literary works of all time – with very good reason!
Set in the lands of Middle Earth and detailing the quest of Frodo Baggins to destroy the One Ring, Tolkien’s epic is filled with magic and monsters which quickly became a cornerstone of fantasy literature. Indeed, it has inspired artwork, films, musical theatre and most recently TV, with the launch of the Netflix series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power!
The books have proved so popular that they’ve also been translated into a range of languages – and now you can learn how to say The Lord of the Rings in the 50 languages of Europe in a Day!
