“United by Music” is the official slogan of the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, coming us live from Liverpool in England, United Kingdom on behalf of last year’s winners, Ukraine!

As every European knows, music definitely does unite! Eurovision is yearly reminder of this! And as this year’s contest is a joint venture between the United Kingdom and Ukraine, the logo’s colours reflect those of the British and Ukrainian flags. The string of hearts is designed to look like an electrocardiogram, showing the heart’s response to rhythm and sound, while even the slogan’s typeface is inspired by Liverpool’s street signs and reflects the city’s rich musical history.

UPDATE: In 2024, it was announced by the EBU that “United by Music” would become the permanent slogan of the Eurovision Song Contest!
